Thanks for seein' about a girl, friend. here's where I'm writing my own history—for you, for me and anyone else who needs to laugh to keep from cryin' every once in awhile.

Seven songs a-streamin'

Seven songs I'm into right now:

1. Ray Lamontagne - Empty
2. The Rolling Stones - Sympathy for the Devil
3. Ray Lamontagne - Three More Days
4. John Mayer - I Don't Trust Myself With Loving You
5. Michael Jackson - Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'
6. Justin Timberlake - My Love
7. Keane - Nothing In My Way

Okay, first, if it ain't any good (to me) I am not going to be enjoying it or listening to it. Secondly, I'm not sure if I even know seven people on here to tag.

Lastly, I felt poetic, so I wanted to say:

What is autumn, dear, if not a chance to fall
in love
with you?

Gently --
like the crisp breeze through my nighttime window
that causes my curtains to billow and twirl,
breezes reminding me
of that lovestruck girl
I always seem to be

when the autumn leaves start to fall.

What is autumn, dear, but a chance to fall
in love
with you

completely --
just like those leaves that promise to take that plunge,
that change just enough and then do,
releasing themselves back to hallowed ground
to help life begin itself anew.
I remember now that hearts once lost can again be found

when the autumn leaves start to fall.

(Hmmm. That's a bit rough, but I had to go ahead and put that out there ...)

Loving the crispy cool weather though. How 'bout you?

I feel like Otis Redding when he was sittin' on the dock of the bay.

Bloody muggles ...
