Thanks for seein' about a girl, friend. here's where I'm writing my own history—for you, for me and anyone else who needs to laugh to keep from cryin' every once in awhile.

The Good, the Bad and yes, the Ugly

 THE GOOD

Things I do nicely:
-  Doodling
-  Telling a story
-  Venting
-  Listening
-  Keeping secrets
-  Revealing my family history in ways that can best be described as tragi-comedic
-  Memorizing
-  Retaining random info about a little bit of everything
-  Hugging
-  Teaching/coaching
-  Electronic communication
-  Singing
-  Talking
-  Consuming food & drink ("Waste not, want not!")
-  Making something out of nothing
-  Learning something new
-  Sports
-  Driving

 THE BAD

Things at which I am not good:
-  Accepting a compliment
-  Being on time
-  Time judgment (which is not the same as time management. If you tell me I have one hour to do something, I can handle this efficiently; however, if you ask me how long something might take I have no bloody idea and will always be off by at least 45 minutes.)
-  Being a non-agressive driver
-  Adapting a "poker face" when necessary
-  Idle chit-chat
-  Mingling
-  Being politically correct
-  Tolerating laziness on the job
-  Tolerating blatant or subtle stupidity
-  Phone calls
-  Telling a joke (i.e., "So, a rabbi, a priest and a whatever walk into a bar ...")
-  Sustaining a serious demeanor
-  Not using the word "yo" as a suffix to nearly every statement
-  Lettin' down the ol' guard
-  Not instigating smack talk about folk
-  Saying "I don't know" and/or "No" up front and sticking to it
-  Not complaining

 THE UGLY

Obvious things that I just need to address:
-  Self-sabotage
-  Hiding/Withdrawing
-  Holding back emotions only to unleash the festering bitterness
-  All talk, little-to-no action

Yeah, that's how I talk.
